The 415-acre brownfield site consists of land previously occupied by the Coryton Oil Refinery.

Part of the old refinery site is already being used for Thames Oilport fuel terminal, which is now open for fuel supply. Thames Enterprise Park makes up the remainder of the site and is one of the largest industrial sites in the Northern Thames Gateway, which itself is North West Europe’s largest single regeneration initiative.
